Who we are
This Privacy Policy covers the website run by Digital Solutions Shield ("DSS," "we," "us"), a company registered in Saudi Arabia under CR 7055004498 and based in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. It explains what personal data we collect through this site, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it under Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
What we collect
The only personal data this site collects is what you type into the Contact form. That's your name, your email address, your organization if you choose to give it, and your message. We don't run tracking cookies or analytics here. The one thing we do save in your browser, a theme preference, isn't personal data, and our Cookie & Local Storage Notice explains why.
How we use it
We use what you submit to answer your inquiry and to talk with you about the service you asked about, and for nothing else. We don't sell your data. We don't use it for advertising. We don't hand it to anyone beyond what's described below.
Third-party processing and international transfer
When you submit the Contact form, your data goes straight from your browser to Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service based outside Saudi Arabia, and Web3Forms relays it to our inbox. That makes it a cross-border transfer of your personal data. Checking the consent box and submitting the form means you agree to that transfer. You can read Web3Forms' own privacy practices at web3forms.com. We don't use any other third-party processor on this site.
Data retention
We hold on to what you submit only as long as we actually need it, to answer your inquiry and keep reasonable business records. After that we delete it, unless the law makes us keep it longer.
Your rights under the PDPL
You can ask what data we hold on you, get a copy of it, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent to its processing whenever you want. Reach us using the details below to do any of that. You can also file a complaint with the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) if you think we've mishandled your data.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect what you send us, though no method of transmission or storage is ever fully secure, and we can't promise otherwise.
Children's data
This site isn't aimed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone below the age Saudi law requires for giving consent.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. Any real change will show up here.
